![]() ![]() If you don't do that, those other devices won't have as many connected functions when you first plug the midi device in to your computer. The other midi devices that you mentioned are excellent - but may require you to spend some time writing your own scripts - or searching the Internet for existing scripts. The Novation FLKey 37 (which I own) and the mini have all of the keys, buttons and dials scripted to control functions in FL Studio - right out of the box! Would anyone recommend a grid/pad over keyboard w/pads? On a side note theres a launchpad x for like half it’s price and decently priced launch pro mkiii (though still pricey for my budget) on facebook marketplace. Open to any and all insights/pro and cons. Looking to get into dance/house/indie and something compact but other than that… Akai mpk mini mk3, novation flkey mini, arturia minilab 3 are what I’ve landed on but I’m open to suggestions! I understand flkeys has integration but without personal experience (of anything other than ios apps) its hard to ignore “how legendary the akai mpk mini mkiii” is.
